ð OMIS tracks sell-through across our panel of UK and DACH outdoor retailers, revealing a challenging but nuanced Q1 2026.
ð Key highlights:
ð UK panel sell-through value declined 4.21% year-on-year in Q1, though Average Selling Price rose +1.87% -> consumers are buying less but spending more when they do.
ð©ðªÂ DACH proved more resilient, with panel value essentially flat (-0.55%) and unit volume sales growing +2.55% year-on-year.
ð§Â Climbing & bouldering (Verticality) was the standout performer, up +13% in the UK and +9% in DACH by value in Q1, bucking the wider market trend in both regions.
âºÂ Camp was a bright spot in DACH in March, posting positive year-on-year growth against a broadly declining market.
ð Apparel and Footwear remain under the most pressure across both markets.
ð OMIS now brings cross-market, cross-currency outdoor sell-through intelligence together for the first time, with UK and DACH data in a single dashboard and live Euro/Sterling switching. This is just the first of a number of enhancements coming that will help shape the future of the outdoor industry.
