1. TOUR DE FRANCE
Fantastic news that the women’s Tour de France will be revived in 2022.
The W Series has a new partnership with Puma with the brand creating female-first racewear. Opening race in France on June 26.
3. ALEX SCOTT
At last the BBC officially announced Alex Scott will be the new host of Football Focus.
The AFL has endorsed further growth of the AFLW competition, with all 18 AFL clubs set to have a women’s team by 2023.
5. BREANNA STEWART
The basketball legend has signed a deal with Puma & will become the first WNBA player in more than a decade to get a signature shoe.
6. SALLY DENNIS
Rugby Canada appoints Sally Dennis as its first female Chair, with international player Karen Paquin appointed a Director on the Canadian Board.
The NWSL add Mastercard to its roster of top-tier sponsors joining Nike, Budweiser, Ally, Nationwide & Verizon.
