David joined Sporting Insights in June 2023.
An experienced researcher with a well-rounded quantitative skillset, David’s previous roles include stints at Ipsos, Kantar, and Hall & Partners among other agencies. During his career, David has led a range of projects and mastered multiple methodologies for delivering data to brands and retailers alike. He enjoys identifying the insight story and telling it in a clear, inspiring way, with concrete recommendations, something that Sporting Insights prides itself on doing across all its programmes.
After an initial handover period, he will take over from Sarah Goward during her maternity leave, operating our industry-leading syndicated research programmes across different sports.
A passionate sports fan, one of David’s roles included assessing social media impact for Olympic athletes. Away from the office, David is a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, as well as an FA certified football coach, who can often be found taking his son to training at the Tottenham pre-academy.
