The Outdoor Market Intelligence Service (OMIS) tracks sell-through across our panel of UK and DACH outdoor retailers, with data going back three years, to the start of 2023.

Key highlights for the first nine months:
UK panel sell-through value declined -3.7%, while Average Selling Price (ASP) rose +5.1%. Fewer units were sold (-8.4%) but those that were sold were sold at higher average price points compared to 2025..
DACH value rose +2.1%, with unit sales up +5.1% and ASP down -2.9%.

In DACH, Packs & Luggage was the top performing department (+6.6%). Verticality grew +3.0%, but appears to be on an upward trajectory, with sharp acceleration in September sales: DACH verticality sales were up +22.3% on September 2025.
Apparel sales value declined broadly in line with the overall panel performance in the UK panel (-2.9% against -3.7% overall). In DACH, it slightly underperformed the market but still displayed slight growth (+0.8%, against +2.1% overall).
Camp was the department under the most pressure in both markets (UK -8.1%, DACH -3.1%). Footwear fell -4.2% in the UK but grew +3.6% in DACH.
In the UK, the higher-price end of the market (products £200+ / €200+) outperformed the rest of the market: UK (sales at £200+) panel up +4.4% (value). In DACH, sales at this premium end (sales at €200+) were up +2.0% in value terms, similar to the overall market.
